Alajuelita, Costa Rica

Gloves Go Global made a donation of 4,500 gloves to a children's clinic in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The Projecto Alajuelita Clinic serves approximately 12,500 Nicaraguan refugees and impoverished Costa Rican citizens. Without access to the national healthcare system, the refugees and uninsured Costa Ricans seek out their clinic to receive treatment and psychological services. The psychological services they provide to families is one of a kind in Costa Rica. The clinic is sponsored by the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC).
